  We are committed to only the highest standards of care.  The doctors and staff regularly attend conferences and scientific meetings allowing them to interact with other healthcare professionals in the same field. By continually training and educating our staff, we are better able to serve you and provide the most up-to-date technology available anywhere. 

• Most recently, in January 2007, we launched the first Natural Cycle IVF program in the Washington D.C. area.  Our goal is to offer a simpler, less stressful, less expensive, and more natural IVF treatment to patients who don't want or need to use ovarian stimulation drugs.  Natural cycle IVF is commonly performed in Europe and in December, 2006, Dr. DiMattina attended the "First World Congress on Natural Cycle IVF in London, England.  The knowledge and information gained at this conference will allow us to better perform this treatment on our patients.

• Expert Credentials

• Both Drs. DiMattina and Gordon are Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and they are both Subspecialty Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.  In June, 2006, both doctors voluntarily underwent re-certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility - the only two doctors in the country to take the 3 hour examination in Reproductive Medicine.

• Both doctors teach the OB/GYN interns, residents and medical students at the local university hospitals, perform research and author medical publications.  Doctors DiMattina and Gordon have written a new book for infertility patients titled "100 Questions to Ask Your Infertility Doctor."  It will be available in local and national book stores beginning this June, 2007.

• Awie Botes are Chief Embryologist has been performing IVF since 1979.  Dr. DiMattina has been performing IVF since 1984 and Dr. Gordon since 1994.  Such experience in our IVF program offers our patients an invaluable advantage and optimizes their likelihood of success.  We always seek and utilize the most updated and recent advances available in Reproductive Medicine.

• Many of the new patients at Dominion Fertility are direct referrals from other physicians who have trusted us with their patients' fertility care for many years.
