Dominion Fertility now offers "Premium Appointment" hours from 4 PM until 6:30 PM on select dates at our Arlington office. Dr.DiMattina will be available on Thursdays, and Dr.Gordon will be available on Tuesdays. Please ask about these extended hours when scheduling your appointment.

Dr. DiMattina will also be available for consultations at a Washington, D.C. location on Wednesday from 1 PM until 5 PM.

Helpful Hints for your First Appointment:

• We suggest that if you are part of a couple experiencing infertility, you should bring your partner to the first appointment. If you are single and attempting to get pregnant, feel free to bring along a support person. It can be helpful to have someone you trust by your side as you begin your journey.
• Bring along a list of any questions you may have. Chances are you have a lot, and it�s easy to forget some of them while you are at the actual appointment. Drs. DiMattina and Gordon welcome questions, and we encourage you to educate yourself so that you are comfortable and knowledgeable about your treatment.
• Complete your new patient paperwork. Download the forms and email them to us so that when you arrive, we have your chart ready and waiting for you.
• If you have had any prior testing or medical procedures, please bring all records to your first appointment, or have them faxed to the office beforehand. These records might include:
  - Semen Analysis Results
  - Basal Body Temperature Chart
  - Any Blood Results, Hormonal Testing Results
  - Cycle Day 3 tests , FSH results, Estradiol levels
  - Prior medications and cycle history
  - Prior records of past IUI or IVF cycles or ovulation induction
  - Your most recent pap test and/or cervical cultures
  - HSG film if you are able to obtain this from the radiology facility where you had your test                  performed, or at the very least a printed report
• Also, it is in your best interest to figure out what your insurance coverage is before your first appointment. We will have someone in our financial services department check your benefits before you come in. Be sure to speak with them before arriving for your initial consultation. It is better to know in advance if you are going to be responsible for a large percentage of the payment.

The more information you can provide, the better your specific medical needs can be evaluated. At Dominion Fertility we understand that this can be a very difficult time for you, and we want to make the transition into our practice as easy as possible. Our Arlington office hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Sonogram hours are from 7:00 AM. to 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Weekend sonogram hours are from 8:00 to 9:00 AM

Directions

From 66 West:

• Take Route 66 East (towards D.C.) to Exit 71. The sign will say: Glebe Rd., Fairfax Drive, Ballston. Exit 71 becomes Fairfax Drive.
• Turn right at the first major intersection (2nd traffic light) onto Glebe Rd. (Route 120).
• Proceed straight for 7 traffic lights while remaining in the right lane. The street numbers will be going down.
• Between the 6th and 7th lights you will be on an overpass over Route 50 (also called Arlington Blvd.) Look straight ahead and to the right, and you will see a Goodwill store.
• Turn right into the Goodwill store parking lot.
• Our office is at the far end of the little shopping center. The address is 46 S. Glebe Rd. and Dominion Fertility is the only 3-story building in the parking lot.
• Parking is free and you may park in front, in back or in the Goodwill lot. Please do not park under the building.
• Enter the elevator lobby of the 3-story building (46 S. Glebe Rd.) and take the elevator to the third floor. We are located in suite 301.

From 50 West:

• Take Route 50 East (towards D.C.) to the Glebe Road exit. As you come up the ramp, stay in the right lane. You will see a Goodwill store on your right.
• Turn right at the traffic light and immediately turn right into the Goodwill store parking lot.
• Our office is the only 3-story building and is at the far end of the shopping center.
• Parking is free and you may park in front, in back or in the Goodwill lot. Please do not park under the building.
• Enter the elevator lobby of the 3-story building (46 S. Glebe Rd.) and take the elevator to the third floor. We are located in suite 301.

From I-95 South

• Go north on I-95 to I-395 N.
• Take exit 7-B. The sign will say: Marymount University. The exit will curve around in a circle and put you on Glebe Rd. heading north.
• Continue on Glebe Rd. passing Walter Reed Drive. Get in the left lane after passing Columbia Pike.
• Make a left turn into the parking lot with the Goodwill store just before the Rt. 50 overpass. You will see a big green sign with our address, 46 S. Glebe Rd. If you pass route 50, you went too far.
• Our office is located in the only 3-story building in the shopping center.
• Parking is free and you may park in front, in back or in the Goodwill lot. Please do not park under the building.
