Dr. Michael DiMattina, MD - Medical Director
He has been performing IVF since 1984. Dr. DiMattina is the director and founder of Dominion Fertility. He is Board Certified in OB/GYN and is Subspecialty Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC. He also teaches Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility to the OB/GYN residents and medical students at The Arlington Hospital in Virginia.
Dr. DiMattina regularly participates in research projects and presents papers at the annual meetings of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). He has had articles and abstracts published in numerous prestigious scientific journals. He frequently presents lectures and seminars to the community and self-help groups such as Resolve, as well as to students and fellow physicians at hospitals and universities throughout the metropolitan area. He volunteers his time at a local non-profit OB/GYN clinic providing GYN care to indigent patients in the community.

Dr. John David Gordon - Co-Director of Dominion Fertility
Dr. Gordon is the co-director of Dominion Fertility. He is Board Certified in OB/GYN and is Subspecialty Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility. Dr. Gordon has extensive experience in the treatment of patients with infertility having previously practiced as the Associate Director of Long Island IVF, the largest IVF program in Long Island, New York.
Dr. Gordon is the author of a popular handbook written for clinicians entitled Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility which has sold over 50,000 copies worldwide. Dr. Gordon has published several scientific papers and review articles in the field of ovarian vascular physiology. He was awarded the American Society for Reproductive Medicine -Organon Research Fellowship during his final year at UCSF for this research, and has been honored for surgical expertise in laparoscopy.
He is an Associate Clinical Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at George Washington University Medical Center, Washington, DC. He teaches Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility to the OB/GYN residents and medical students from George Washington University Medical Center at Fairfax Hospital, and to the Georgetown University OB/GYN residents and medical students at the Arlington Hospital in Virginia. In June 2000 and 2006, Dr. Gordon was awarded the National Resident Teaching Award for his educational activities with the residents from George Washington University Medical Center.
